Oconomowoc Developmental Training Center developed children’s group homes for residents needing a less restrictive environment, and as a step toward independence. These are community living arrangements, and are licensed by the State of Wisconsin. These homes are designed for 8 to 14 children, ranging in age from 6 to 18.
Located in surrounding neighborhoods, programming focuses on community integration. The home-like atmosphere provides more normalized living and specific training in daily living skills. The decision for group home placement is facilitated in cooperation with the child’s referring agency.
