We are very proud of our dedicated, professional staff. It is their passion and hard work that make ODTC such a special place.
Helen has been with ODTC for over 19 years. She says that she never knows what each day will hold.
During her many years as Housekeeping Supervisor, Helen has come to know and appreciate our residents. As she states, "Being in the housekeeping field, I try to provide guidance to our residents regarding how to clean their rooms and the importance of taking pride in what they do." Helen smiles as she tells us, "It gives me a great feeling to see their faces light up when I tell them they've done a good job cleaning their rooms."
Helen tells us that she and her housekeeping staff work hard to keep ODTC a clean, attractive home for our residents and a nice place in which to work. They vacuum many miles of halls and living areas each day, as well as mop 14-15 classrooms. They also clean countless windows on a daily basis.
When she's not working, Helen enjoys spending time with her family, including her two children and two grandchildren. She also can be spotted riding with her husband cross country on his motorcycle. In addition, Helen and her husband keep busy restoring their pride and joy-a collector car.
