The ITN Treatment Teams and the children living on these units have been working on making the activity areas look even more inviting, friendly and cheerful.
Our children have many issues including significant sensory needs. We wanted to make sure that the activity areas were inviting, stimulating and most of all fun, so we embarked on a transformation. Each unit team chose a particular bright color based on the name and theme of their group (Bonsai, Rainforest and Northern Lights). With a little bit of paint and a lot of effort, each area has become an even more child-friendly and stimulating environment.
Each team is currently in a different stage of decorating their area with art work, activity schedules, etc., really making it their own. We continue to pursue other ways to improve the kids’ home away from home. If you are in the neighborhood please stop by, say hello, and see our wonderful transformation!
